Our Venue

Luxury Riad in the old walls of Tiznit

Our venue, Riad Janoub, blends traditional Andalusian and Moroccan architecture in the old walls of Tiznit—also known as Morocco’s Silver City. From mosaic-tiled courtyards to quiet corners and peaceful gardens, this riad offers a charming and luxurious stay in the heart of southern Morocco. Known for its warm hospitality and personalized service, Riad Janoub welcomes you with the comfort of a Moroccan home.

About Tiznit

Tiznit offers a glimpse into the real Morocco—rich in culture, tradition, and everyday life. Often called Morocco’s Silver City, it’s renowned for its skilled silversmiths and vibrant jewelry souks. Nestled between the Atlantic coast and the edge of the Sahara, Tiznit offers a slower, more authentic rhythm of life. Wander through its ancient medina, surrounded by ochre walls, and you’ll find colorful markets, palm-lined streets, and the subtle charm of a place that hasn’t rushed to modernize. Tiznit invites you to experience Morocco beyond the tourist trail—real, rooted, and full of character.

Activities

Staying inside the old city walls means stepping straight into the heart of Moroccan culture. Wander through lively souks, explore centuries of history, and soak in the everyday rhythm of Tiznit. Beyond the medina, we’ll venture to quiet beaches, drive through dramatic mountain roads, and discover hidden oases tucked into the desert. Ride camels, visit local markets with our host, and pick out fresh ingredients to cook traditional tajine together—an experience that blends culture, adventure, and connection in every step.

Why Yoga & Calisthenics?

Discover the powerful combination of yoga and calisthenics. While training together, Issy and Maxime found surprising parallels between the two—both rooted in functional movement, body awareness, and minimal equipment. Yoga enhances mobility, flexibility, and the mind-body connection, while calisthenics focuses on strength, endurance, and control. Blending the two creates a practice that’s balanced, empowering, and deeply harmonizing—both physically and mentally. It also supports self-growth, confidence, and overcoming fear. Best of all, yoga and calisthenics are accessible to everyone. Using only bodyweight, every movement can be adapted to any level. After years of hosting retreats across continents with participants from over 40 countries, Issy and Maxime have seen how this fusion inspires lasting transformation—on and off the mat.
